Hey, it’s Okay…
To be psyched that Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will be hosting the Golden Globes (thanks for the scoop, Glamour).
To be freaked out that a tick was crawling up my shirt after being in the woods for all of two minutes and having walked around my house for 45 minutes before discovering it.
To want to burn everything I was wearing that day and everything I touched in the house before I noticed the damn tick.
To pray it didn’t bring any friends with it.
To want to give nature the finger.
To feel some guilt for not posting anything for Movie Monday yesterday. I was consumed by the post-tick cleaning.
To still enjoy 80′s music as much as I did in the 80′s.
That I can imagine how funny it will look to be rocking out the The Fixx and Echo and the Bunnymen when I’m an old coot.
To find it highly amusing that “80′s Cardio” is a station on Pandora.
To be super-psyched that CBS finally offers full episodes of The Mentalist online. Sometimes we forget to record it.
To have chuckled inwardly that I, once again, almost wrote “taped” instead of “recorded.” Can’t take the 80′s out of the girl. 
To be psyched for Amber, The Whispering Writer, for having her very own book on Kindle! Can’t wait to read it!
To find it highly amusing to watch the way Schmoopy eats Coco Pop snacks with her front teeth (Does your store make these? They make a huge popping sound as they fly out of the machine that cooks (?) them.

I’m with you on the tick thing. Just the thought of one on me…ugh.
Any idea if they’re showing last season’s episodes, too? With no cable, we have to rely on Netlix (DVDs even, not streaming), and we’re not so good at keeping up that way.

I don’t know what the deal is w/ CBS. They only keep those Mentalist eps on for a certain time period, then they expire. Gah. It isn’t on Netflix streaming. I think they were waiting to make money off the DVDs, maybe.
Glad I’m not alone on the tick thing.
I actually buy the snacks for us, but Sophie loves them, too!
