Who knew summer would be more busy than the school year? Turns out for the moment it is. I’m hopeful for a more settled August (read: plenty of lounging and movie watching time). By the time the kids get to bed at night, there isn’t much time for movies.
Also, having them home during the day leaves far less time for bon bons and blogging, so I’ve been turning to short Webisodes for entertainment. Perfect for watching while you cook dinner, eat dinner, watch the kids swing out the window or rub the dog’s tummy.
Yahoo is running a series produced by Ben Stiller called Burning Love that is cracking me the heck up. It’s a spoof on The Bachelor, so if you’ve even watched one episode of that or The Bachelorette, you’re primed for this series.
It stars Ken Marino of Party Down fame, which I notice is no longer available for streaming on Netflix. Bastards!

OK I just watched half of the 1st episode. Hilarious! Waiting to watch the rest w/the huz when he gets home tonight. I’m guessing we’ll have a 5 or 6 episode marathon when the kids go to bed. Love it!

That’s my point, though–if you already think those shows are ridiculous, you’ll LOVE this one!
