Because that’s what the award says that April from Pink Snails and Puppy Dog Tails bestowed upon me. It’s also twinkly, which makes it even better
. Who doesn’t like stuff that twinkles?
Wow. Now I feel like I should be dressing up the place a bit. Oh, who am I kidding. If I knew how to do that, I would have already done it ages ago.
Looks like I need to do the following:

Well, the first one’s easy enough–thanks, April! I’m flattered you thought of me! I hope my lack of style doesn’t disappoint.
Seven things about me. Hmm. Here goes:
1. My idea of roughing it (or camping) is Holiday Inn Express. I don’t like bugs. I’m also not a big fan of using the great outdoors as a restroom.
2. When I was a kid, I named my pet rabbit after Vinny Barbarino on “Welcome Back Kotter.” I also had a crush on a boy named Vinny at the time, so maybe it was a little of both.
3. Pumpkin is my favorite kind of pie.
4. Coconut cream is a close second. (was that cheating?)
5. I wore braces for six long years. The setup included three lovely rubber bands across the front. At least I didn’t have to do headgear.
6. When I was about 9, I had a dog named Elsa. I named her after Elsa the lion on “Born Free.”
7. I like jelly on my grilled cheese.
I haven’t been doing a whole lot of blog discovering lately, but I’ll do my best to recall those I’ve found pretty recently:

Well, I have heard of pepper jelly on cheese….so….I guess it’s okay. Thank you so much for the award. My first! (actually, I did get another one, but I didn’t understand the concept and lost it). These things happen to Wombats. Let me know if you find a place that has super big sheets that don’t shrink or are big enough to shrink and still fit.

I recently discovered another family who eats their grilled cheese this way, so I know it wasn’t just my family’s bizarre culinary habit!
Call your local mattress/bed store. They usually sell really nice sheets that will actually fit the giant mattresses.

one time when i was around 12 yrs old, i was making my bed and i saw some older boys walk by outside my bedroom window. i played it totally cool and smiled at them like it was no big deal. then i remembered i still had my headgear on.
did i mention i didn’t have a boyfriend until i was 18…? weird, i know.
